The campaign has been rewarded for the use of owned, earned and paid media. From traditional media to Out-of-Home, social and paid. In addition to this great reward for a effective campaign we also received two nominations in this edition of the European Excellence Awards. One for <span class=\"underline\">European Agency of the Year<\/span> (Small and Mid-Sized) and one in the <span class=\"underline\">Benelux\/France category<\/span> for the online honorary guard for the Veterans Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo eplus-wrapper\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Case film: Pleegzorg Nederland_ENG\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/471325105?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\" wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Dutch Foster Care Association sounds the alarm<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">There is a drastic shortage of foster parents. How can we ensure that we recruit more new foster parents? How can we create as much visibility as possible for the campaign for the Dutch Foster Care Association through multi channels and means. The goal: to find <span class=\"circle\">3,500 new foster parents<\/span>. In the Foster Care Weekwhich started at the end of October 2019, the campaign Open Your World was launched. Using figures on a national and provincial level we mapped out the urgency of the problem. We also showed how the lives of children and foster parents are enriched by foster care. And that there are different ways to be foster parents. Using a smart strategy and approach, we realized massive regional and national media coverage. And &#8211; most importantly &#8211; we found a lot of new foster parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo eplus-wrapper\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Case film: Veteraneninstituut_ENG\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/471325350?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\" wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\"><strong>The Veterans Institute<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately no award, but a nice nomination for the Veterans Institute. Every year, Dutch veterans at National Remembrance Day form the honorary guardat De Dam in Amsterdam. Leading the way for the Dutch king and queen to pay their respects to fallen war victims. Because Covid19 made it impossible for to actually visit the National Remembrance Day at De Dam in Amsterdam, we, together with the Veterans Institute and Kaliber, found a safe way to <span class=\"circle\">involve people in the stories<\/span> of the veterans from the honor guard during the commemoration. Together we came up with the online honorary guard, an online environment where personal stories, portraits, images and videos were shared. More than 10,000 people visited the website on and around May 4th and more than 30 publications in regional media about the veterans. But most importantly, we found a way for Dutch veterans to still share their stories and life lessons.
