Wesley van den Berg? Yes, that's me. A full-blooded Rotterdammer who took on the challenge of being a Project Assistant at Bijl just over 4 years ago. It's something I still really enjoy. Bijl's project office is a support department for consultants in particular. Every project officer is responsible for a number of customers. The various duties of a project officer include drawing up media lists, sending off press releases, assisting with events and selecting and ordering particular productions. Just name it, I've done it.

As the working week draws to a close and the weekend approaches, you will often see me in one of the pubs in Rotterdam, where I go completely crazy late into the night. As soon as a Dutch hit comes on, I quickly grab a microphone and like to sing along. ‘Bloed Zweet & Tranen', ‘Zij gelooft in mij', lalala. For this reason, the last day of the weekend, Sunday, is a real lie-in day for me.

I've been going to the camping site in Ouddorp with family, friends and acquaintances every summer for the past 23 years. As soon as the sun shines in Ouddorp, I grab my bicycle and head to the beach with friends. As evening falls, I put on my Nikes and go to De Kreek until late in the evening.
