A holiday job led me to accounting. I quickly realised that I like working with numbers more than anything else. Bijl's accounts department is the ideal place for me. There are plenty of opportunities at Bijl as well, due to its relatively flat structure. If you have a good idea, you are given the freedom needed to implement it.
Outside of work, I am an active member of the parents' council and help out at my daughter's school. I also like to watch football matches. Ajax is my favourite team. I like to watch Dutch premier league matches whenever I can, both at home and - even better - in the stadium. Naturally, I also follow the Dutch national football team closely. If I have any time left over, I like to read a good thriller. I can devour books by Saskia Noort and Simone van der Vlugt.
