Since then, Marktplaats.nl has grown into the number one website for e-commerce, with an ever-increasing customer base consisting of private individuals and small companies, which is constantly growing. Almost anything can be found on Marktplaats.nl. There are over 5 million advertisements on the website and every day over 250,000 new advertisements are placed. Marktplaats.nl has been part of eBay.com since November 2004.
Over the next few years, Bijl will ensure that everyone knows that Marktplaats.nl is the largest e-commerce site in the Netherlands.
