The Hague University of Applied Sciences offers over 40 different courses in various fields, with campuses in The Hague, Rijswijk and Zoetermeer. An extensive programme of joint ventures continuously enriches and deepens the knowledge of the university. Students, teachers and lecturers are constantly exchanging knowledge with educational institutions, companies and governments when completing work placements, dissertation subjects, projects and studies. The Hague University of Applied Sciences is home to more than 100 different nationalities, making it the most international college of higher education in the Netherlands. The university currently offers a variety of courses, including five international Bachelor's degree programmes and four international Master's degree programmes.
Bijl manages various projects on behalf of a large number of academies of The Hague University of Applied Sciences, both in a long-term, strategic context and in the shorter term. These are often more marketing-oriented projects. Bijl has supervised the development of the subject description guide Studiemagazine. Bijl has also produced a communication plan for the Knowledge Centre for Science and Technology (Kenniscentrum voor Wetenschap en Techniek). Bijl developed the Marketing Communication plan for the Master's degree and professional certification courses. Bijl has undertaken various marketing campaigns for the academy for Process & Food Technology. Bijl also manages the final editing of the annual report and advises The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the field of crisis communication. Furthermore, Bijl also manages various PR campaigns for all technical courses at the university.
