The Maria Bingo website provides online bingo and other games. The site was launched in the Netherlands in 2009. MariaBingo is also present in Scandinavia, Great Britain, France, Belgium, Estonia and Romania. The bingo site forms part of the Swiss company Maria Holdings Ltd.
Bijl managed all communication with the press in relation to Maria Bingo's launch in the Netherlands at the Huishoudbeurs (homes and interior trade exhibition). To this end, Bijl liaised with the Communication & PR department of the RAI in Amsterdam, acted as spokesperson for part of the time, took care of press invitations and press releases, supervised the press at the trade fair and arranged press photos and video items.
